Secret item 'Tortilla presser'!

Fainally, I got a tortilla presser!! I needed this item because it was difficult to roll tortilla thinly into a circle.
It's very convenient item!! I can make really delicious tortilla! It has sweet, fantastic flaver.
It seems that a kind of flour is of importance. The powder is called 'MASA'. This is fine than corn meal, but rough than corn flour.

22 April dinner 'Butter chicken curry'

My Indian coworker gave me 'Butter chicken curry souce' as a souvenirs.
Today's dinner menu is 'Butter chicken curry', 'Tandoori chicken', 'naan' and 'salad'. This curry souce tasted really, reallly good!!!!! I want to study how to making this curry souce! This 'Tandoori chickcen'  was the best recipe which I had made . I did rather well for making 'naan', too. Today's dinner was Perfect! 

Ingradients and Directions of tandoori chicken:
1. In the bowl, mix 200g yoghurt, 2.5cm grated ginger, some grated garlic, 2 tablespoon lemmon juice, 1 tablespoon paprika powder, 1 tablespoon coriander powder, 1tablespoon cumin powder, 1 tablespoon red pepper powder, 1 tablespoon salt, 1/2 tablespoon turmeric powder, 5~6 ground green cardamom.
2. Cut the chicken and marinate in the yoghurt souce at least 2 hours.
3. Heat the oven at 230~250℃ and bake chicken with some butter for 30~40 minutes.
4. Remove from the oven and serve.

Ingradients and Directions of naan:
1. In the bowl, mix 200g strong flour and 100g weak flour. Make a hole in the center and put 1 teaspoon dry-yeast and 2 teaspoon sugar. Put 1/4 teaspoon salt out of a hole.
2. Pour 90~100g little warm water and 2 tablespoon olive oil to a hole. Gradually mix and make knead the dough by hands until it comes together.
3. Coverd with rap, let rest the dough at 40℃.
4. Punch the dough down, divide the dough 3 parts. Form shape of naan and bake the both side with saute pan coverd the lid for few mimutes.

21 April dinner 'Swedish meatball'

When I went to IKEA, I ate 'Swedish meatball'. It tasted good and it was interesting that the meatball come with some blueberry jam. So, I tried to cook this!
Ingradients and Directions:
1. In the bowl, combine 300~500g ground pork, 1 egg, some bread powder, stir-fried 1 onion, some salt, 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice, 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg.
2. Using your hands, shape the meatballs into rounds.
3. Heat the butter in the saute pan, add the meatballs and soute until golden brown on all sides. Remove the meatballs and place in the warmed oven.
4. Once all of the meatballs are cooked, add the flour to the pan. Whisk until lightly browned. Gradually add the beaf stock and whisk until sauce begins to thicken. Add some soy milk and continue to cook until the gravy reachesthe desired consistency. Don't allow the souce to boil because the soy milk proteins are separeted out.
5. Remove the meatballs from the oven, cover with the gravy and garnish with some blueberry jam.

20 April dinner 'Dried-fish with tomato basil souce'

Today's dinner menu is 'Dried-fish with tomato basil souce', 'Lettus salad', 'Celery soup' and ' Corn and carrot pilaf'. I knew that I can use dried fish for Italian style food!

Today's dinner menu is 'Baked salted dried-fish' , 'Japanese radish and ham salad', 'vinegared seaweed',  'miso soup' and 'Boiled bamboo shoot Brown rice'.

11 April dinner 'Beaf stroganoff with lemon rice'

Today, there was an earthquake, again. Kanto region where I live in was mesured level 4 on the Japanese scale. We have a lot of earthquake, recently. So, I'm becoming find level of earthquake intensity. We are OK untill level 5.
Today's dinner menu is 'Beaf stroganoff with lemon rice' and 'salad'. 'Beafstroganoff' is Jamie Oliver's recipe. But I exchanged cream fraiche for soy milk. It was fantastic!! I love Jamie's recipe!!!

10 April dinner 'Eel and rice'

Today, We went to have lunch at a ramen shop '山一'. The  山一's recommended ramen taste is soy souce.
I went to the shop after a long time. It tasted good and I was fully satisfied! And then, we went shopping at a home center. It's becoming warm recently, We bought a lot of flowers, herbs and soil for gardening. I have cultivated some herbs and lettuce with hydroponic culture, too. The lettuce is in good condition, but the herbs haven't grown well. The stem of the herbs is too slender. I'm looking forward to the herbs growing in my garden!

Today's dinner menu is 'Steamed eel and rice', ' Boiled spinach' and 'Seaweed clear soup'.

9 April dinner 'Asian dinner'

Today, I wanted to ate 'Summer roll', so I cooked 'Asian dinner'.
The dinner menu is 'Summer roll', and 'Pork and lotus root soup flaverd num pla' and 'Pad-thai (stir-fried noodle)'. It was very difficult to wrap Summer roll tightly..

4 April dinner

Today's dinner is ' Boiled adult yellowtail and Japanese radish using soy souce and sugar' and ' Yellowtail shabushabu'. 'Shabushabu' is cooking that sliced meat or fish are dipped and lightly waved around a couple of times in bioling water.

2 April dinner

Today's dinner is 'Duck one-pot cooking'. The more duck meat I put into the pot, the more the delicious it is!! I ate 'Soba' using the fantastic soup in the end. But the duck meat itself had a little blood-like smell. It seems that the meat smell is different in different parts of the body. I have to study more about it!!

1 April dinner

I can't believe it's April already. Time passes too quickly...

Today's dinner menu is ' Egg plant, mushroom and spinach meat sauce spaghetti' and 'sliced raw tuna and avocado salad'.

31 March dinner

Today, I suddenly went to have lunch at a chinese restaurant with my boss and colleagues. This lunch was decided on short notice and we chose a restaurant at Venture. But this choice was right. We had a good time! And our boss paid the bill for everybody. Thanks a lot!

I had too much lunch for an unplanned party. So, today's dinner is a light menu.
'Chicken wing tip risotto like 参鶏湯', 'Bean sprout stir-fries', 'marinated cucumber and Japanese raddish and ham' and ' Japanese style boiled bamboo shoots'.
